New Atlas importer for USA

German loader crane manufacturer Atlas has appointed Irving Equipment as its exclusive crane importer and master distributor for the USA.

The cranes will continue to be sold through local authorised Atlas dealerships and representatives, which will source product and ongoing support from Irving’s new facility in Tiffin, Ohio which has enough space under cover to work on even the largest Atlas cranes -folded or unfolded. It also includes a fully equipped machining centre and fabrication shop, along with a parts warehouse, which will hold an extensive inventory of Atlas spare parts. The new offices include an engineering centre and state-of-the-art operator and mechanic training areas.

In addition to holding stock and looking after logistics, Irving will offer sales, installation, and full crane service, along with boom inspection, repair and certification. It will also be able to supply customers with installed, work ready trucks and cranes at short notice. The two companies will have a joint stand at Conexpo next year.
